Foamflower
Tiarella stolonifera

A beautiful native woodland perennial known for its soft, heart-shaped leaves and delicate spikes of foamy white flowers that rise above the foliage in spring. The airy flower clusters resemble soft foam, giving the plant its common name. Attractive foliage often develops bronze or burgundy tones in cooler weather, adding season-long interest.

Foamflower spreads gently by runners, forming lush groundcover colonies in shaded woodland settings. It thrives in rich forest soils and is an excellent choice for naturalizing beneath trees and along shaded garden paths.
