Early Meadow-rue
Thalictrum dioicum
This compact native is an important component of Ontario woodlands. The delicate texture of the tiny, maple-leaf shaped leaves and abundant, long drooping greenish-yellow flowers make this plant a good companion for such species as Wild Ginger, Trillium, Solomons Seal and many ferns. An early good source of pollen for bees.
