Upland White Goldenrod
Solidago ptarmacoides
This goldenrod bears stiff, linear leaves, and flat-topped flower heads of white ray flowers. Rare in Ontario, except on the limestone pavements of the Bruce Peninsula and sandy soils to the north. Compact, sturdy and drought resistant. Attracts butterflies.
