Buckthorn Busters Combo
This selection of plants is suited for those looking to revegetate shaded or partly shaded areas that have been cleared of Common Buckthorn (Rhamnus cathartica), or where this invasive species is becoming established. Inspired by research and our personal experience, this combo contains species that have been shown to be effective at suppressing the re-growth of Common Buckthorn. Consider pairing with shade-tolerant woody species such as Elderberry (Sambucus racemosa), Sugar Maple (Acer sacharum), and Balsam Fir (Abies balsmea), or with one of our other garden combos for additional diversity.
See here for more information on revegetating areas affected by Common Buckthorn with native species.
At a price of $105.00 this garden combo saves you more than 10% on the full price of individual pots.
